What I do
If you haven’t tried anything with AI yet, I learn how your business makes money and where the hours go, and come back with specific, costed ideas worth building. If you’ve already built something and it stalled — a tool that breaks on real data, or can’t be handed to staff — I take it from there.
I have a PhD in philosophy from Georgetown. I taught for a few years, then moved into software engineering, and I’m now training as a counselor at Marquette.
In practice
For a plaintiff-side law firm, I turned a set of half-working experiments with Claude, Anthropic’s AI assistant, into a live platform the firm runs on: client intake and online sign-up, built-in e-signatures, automated email, and secure document storage. The firm manages nearly all of it by working with Claude directly, though I also built them a conventional admin panel for when that makes sense. One idea I brought them has become its own project, which we’re building now: custom AI agent plugins that work from a customer’s own data to figure out which legal claims they qualify for.
